Whether you're a type 1 or 2 diabetic, you will need to adjust your diet to help control your blood sugar levels and stay healthy. Most of our recipe ideas will be lower in sugar, calories and fat, than those in cookbooks. If you're cooking for a friend or have someone visiting, cut down on the sugar content and allow them to take smaller portions of foods - this can be easier than trying a whole new recipe or menu!
