A large holiday breakfast is traditional for families after the children have opened their presents Christmas morning.
If you're struggling to think of healthy ideas for Christmas breakfast, here's some ideas that we had:-
Soak dried fruits in unsweetened apple juice overnight and stew slowly until soft. Serve with a dollop of fromage frais or yoghurt.
There's nothing better than a cooked breakfast - serve plenty of scrambled egg with a slice or two of bacon.
A few fried mushrooms and tomatoes will complete this dish.
There's something very indulgent about pancakes served with fresh berries and fruit.
Top buckwheat or wholewheat pancakes with fresh blueberries and top with a dollop of yogurt or creme fraiche.
