Here's an easy to follow recipe for creating your own authentic taste of the best of Greek cooking.

Greek Salad with Feta Cheese

Ingredientseasy greek salad recipe

  • 4 tomatoes, cut into wedges
  • ½ cucumber, cut into chunks
  • ¼ yellow or red pepper
  • ¼ red onion, cut into half rings
  • 125g feta cheese - cut into squares
  • a handful of olives
  • extra virgin olive oil, to drizzle
  • dried oregano
  • freshly ground black pepper
  • salt

Place or layer the salad ingredients in a bowl, mixing with a little freshly ground black pepper.

Drizzle with extra virgin olive oil, sprinkle with oregano and garnish with olives.

This recipe is suitable for most vegetarians.
