You can use just about any type of bread, from homemade,
wholemeal or wholewheat, to soft brioche.
Variations on Basic French Toast
The only limit on the variations of this is your own
imagination.
Try it with a few simple toppings:-
- marmite

- peanut butter
- honey
- butter
- sliced fruit
- fried tomatoes
- parma ham or pancetta

recipe putting two slices stuffed together with a
filling.

The lists is almost endless!
